My ten in ten was very grab and go this time. I was worried if I overthought what I was going to read I would not enjoy it like last time. It went amazing in comparison to the last one! So, here we go!

I read the first book of The Giver series for school last semester and had to wait to finish the last three. I am not extremely patient while waiting for books, so when the time came I jumped at the chance to get to these. I got to fall back into the world created by Lois Lowry again. This time I got to fall completely into it. I met new characters, I was brought back to old favorites, and felt the journey I was on become beautifully complete. The books might not be long reads, but they are wonderful and perfect day reads! Binge away!

This book sat in my cart on Amazon for too long! It is a journey through the eyes of three women who all did what they had to do in order to find themselves, survive, and… well… give out a dose of… help to other women. The mystery of what exactly happened is captivating, to say the least. The characters are extremely well written. The story itself is a genius creation by Sarah Penner that should be put on everyone’s must read list!

Gripping, intense, and a last minute buy. I was not sure before reading if this was the right add to my ten in ten, but I am happy that I did! The mystery of Libby’s past is a thrilling ride. The craziness of how she got to where she is in her life, along with every other character, from start to finish is attention grabbing. I was impressed by how each chapter in different perspectives came together like a mysterious puzzle! If you want a thrilling ride take this novel for a spin!

For books six, seven, and eight I went with another trilogy! Daring I know. These books are fun retellings and creative new ways for us all to look at some fairytale classics. The characters are great, brutally honest, funny, sarcastic, and easy to read. This journey is not one I was expecting when I picked the books up initially, but I was entertained from start to finish. If fairytales, drama, and the unexpected are your preferences then grab this trilogy and enjoy a good ride!

Everyone has heard of Harry Potter, but the kids I nanny wanted to start this journey together. The look on their faces when we got to the troll and the journey to the stone was my favorite part of this ten in ten! They loved it so much we began book two the next day! This was hands down the perfect choice to get them sitting together and passing the book around taking turns reading!

This was a ten day journey. I read a little in the morning and a little at night to clear my head. Poetry has always had a special place in my heart and I wanted to reintroduce it to my life. Seeing some things on paper hit me right in the heart and others I could feel to my soul. I have books two, three, and four on deck to keep doing some daily reading. Simply wonderful!
This ten in ten is always important for me to be able to reacquaint myself with my bookshelves, to get myself out of the school head space, and to open my eyes and imagination to new wonders.
I am calling this round an extreme success!
