I have spent the last year and a quarter trying to get my foot in the door! I have spent a year and a quarter wondering if my writing was truly as amazing as I thought it was.

Well…..(Insert drumroll here)

I got a job as a ghostwriter!

Not only that, but I have been picking up editing jobs as well! I know it is not the big fancy editing position that I am still vying for, but I am so happy to be in the field! I love every minute I get to sit down and write! I get to do what I love and help other people acheive their dreams!

I have also made a shift in what I am writing for myself.

I have a fun new system for prompts! I filled a jar with little ideas and another one with tropes. I am going to take those and combine them and see what happens! If it does not work out for just prompts and leads to short stories, novellas, or novels then that is just a bonus!

I have been putting work into A Deal With the Devils Daughter, but I have been trying to focus on getting my career off the ground for a bit. Doing that will help me find that new balance that does not include nannying. It will also help me be with my number one reading and writing buddy, my pup Luna, a lot more while working from home!

I cannot wait to have all of the free time post transition to share my journey with you more!
